NEWS: The position of Chef de Cuisine will be held by PATRICK PASS from Carinthia starting in the upcoming winter season, November 2024. Throughout his career, he has already been awarded 3 toques. MARLENE EBENFÜHRER will take on the role of Sous Chef. The native of Upper Austria learned her culinary skills at various stations both domestically and abroad and has been cooking alongside Patrick Pass since 2015. We are very much looking forward to the future collaboration.

Our creative kitchen team creates refined as well as down-to-earth regional delicacies with a touch of culinary openness that will delight even the most discerning palates.

The gourmet offerings range from an extensive indulgent breakfast to alternating savory and sweet lunch options, culminating in a multi-course dinner in the evening. True taste experiences are guaranteed. In our in-house à la carte restaurant DER 12 ENDER, there is an additional dining option available for an extra charge. The selection of dishes and the impressive wine offerings are both sophisticated and stylish, all framed by the adrenaline-fueled mountain peaks of Obertauern.

The gourmet kitchen at DAS KOHLMAYR arises from a symbiosis of wholesome enjoyment and well-being. We put great detail on conscious sourcing from regional partners and a mindful arrangement of the elements. The fresh and regional products are combined with love to create exclusive taste experiences. Delightful cuisine in the alpine region.

One of our generous extras as part of the all-inclusive ¾ pampering board and amenities: During the given meals, from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. soft drinks (self-service) are available to you, free from charge.

Our kitchen team under the direction of Chef de Cuisine Patrick Pass and Sous Chef Marlene Ebenführer will be happy to address lactose or gluten intolerance. We would kindly ask for your understanding that further incompatibilities cannot be taken into account and must be communicated prior to your stay. We would be more than happy to align your wishes with our kitchen team.

 

 

Nutritious Morning Enjoyment

Since, as we all know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we definitely don't want to let you out on the pistes until your batteries are fully charged, we treat you to a lavish breakfast buffet between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM that includes organic foods and regional products.

Between-Meal Energy Boost

After an eventful day of skiing, we welcome you back between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM with a lunch table and additionally from 3:00 PM with coffee, tea and cake. And thanks to our all-inclusive offer, during 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM you are also welcome to serve yourself free non-alcoholic beverages.

Pure Enjoyment

In the evening, take your seat in one of our comfortable restaurant areas. Every day between 6 PM and 9 PM, we serve you a rotating selection of regional specialties and exquisite international gourmet dishes. Since the tastes of big and small guests are not always identical, our kitchen team conjures up a kids' buffet that is sure to appeal to their own personal preferences.

The offer ranges from the classical, sumptuous ¾ board to the option of visiting our à la carte restaurant DER 12 ENDER, where sophisticated, modern and regional delicacies are created and served to order, accompanied by an exquisite selection of domestic and international wines and sparkling wines. Our kitchen team, inspired and headed by Chef de Cuisine Patrick Pass and Sous Chef Marlene Ebenführer, will surprise you with exceptional and savory dishes which will tickle your taste buds with imaginative creations based on Alpine-Mediterranean food cultures and a special focus on local products.

The interior of our 12-seat restaurant conveys a traditional and relaxing atmosphere with a certain refinement. A special place, a meeting place for men and women of pleasure whose passion for culinary excellence cannot be sated. External guests are also very welcome at DER 12 ENDER.

PS: We are delighted to announce that our restaurant was awarded two toques and 13 points in the year 2022/23. This year, 2023/24, we have further improved and were again awarded two toques, this time with 14 points. Come by and experience our award-winning cuisine for yourself!
